Samsung has finally unveiled the much awaited next version of its hugely popular Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event at IFA, in Berlin. Samsung Galaxy Note II comes with even larger 5.5” HD Super AMOLED (1,280 x 720) screen with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) running on it. With this release, Galaxy Note II becomes the first samsung device which is running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
Galaxy Note II is powered by 1.6GHz Quad-Core Exynos processor with HSPA Plus or 4G LTE connectivity. In terms of Camera, it comes with an 8 megapixel rear-facing and 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera with HD video recording with features like Buddy Photo Share, Burst Shot and Best Photo introduced by Samsung with Galaxy S III. One of the features which makes it different is the S Pen that does the work of a great stylus if you ever considered using one for your phone. Note II OS has been enhanced keeping in mind the stylus use and several features e.g Easy Clip, Idea Visualizer etc. are there that help you use the S Pen to its full potential.The device will be available in 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB versions with an expandable micro SD memory slot.
Pricing
Even though the official pricing is still to be announced, if some rumors and leaks are to believed then the Note II will be priced at €639.90, or about $803.
