HTC India officially launches Desire X for INR 19,799


As expected, HTC has announced the launch of Desire X in the country on Monday. Priced at INR 19,799, the smartphone features a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor and Ice Cream Sandwich. The MRP of the smartphone is INR 23,499.

The smartphone, which had recently popped up at various online retail stores, also comes with 4-inch WVGA display, HTC Sense 4.0 UI and 5MP rear camera.

It not only looks and sounds great, but also provides a super-fast, highly personal mobile experience at a great price,” said ,” said Faisal Siddqui, Country Manager, HTC India.
According to HTC, the camera on the phone is powered by HTC’s proprietary ImageChip,  and features a f/2.0, 28mm wide-angle lens, BSI sensor, HDR mode and automatic adjustable flash. As you would expect, there is Beats Audio integration and free 25GB of cloud storage from Dropbox.
